Jeff Raymer

Head Coach

Coach Raymer enters his 17th year coaching and his 10th at the helm of the Tiger Baseball Program.  He received his degree in marketing from The University of Louisiana.  He was fortunate to have the opportunity to play baseball in college, including as a member of the 1999-2000 Ragin' Caguns baseball program that participated in the College World Series in Omaha. Previous to his time on the UL team, Raymer spent one season playing at Paris JC.  Upon entering the coaching world, he spent 3 years at South Houston HS where he coached the Trojan hitters and infielders.  Raymer was then named the first Head Coach at Emery HS in Houston, TX.  He spent 2 seasons at the helm of the Jaguar program before taking the Varsity Assistant job at Pasadena Dobie HS.  Raymer led the Longhorn pitching staff to a tremendous amount of success in his time there while also working with the program's outfielders.  This is now Raymer's 10th season at Conroe HS, having already led the Tigers to their highest five year winning percentage in decades leading up to this season.  In Raymer's time at Conroe, 26 Tiger baseball players have earned the opportunity to play college baseball including 5 following the 2022 season which saw the Tigers come within one game of making the state playoffs. Coach Raymer has also had one former player selected in the MLB draft by the Oakland Athletics.  Raymer is excited to see the continued focus and passion of the Tiger Baseball program show up on and off the field.  He believes this year's team has a "team first" mentality and tireless work ethic which will lead to a successful season.
