Conroe Baseball Coaches
Coach Raymer has been coaching for 16 years. He spent 3 years at South Houston HS where he coached the Trojan hitters and infielders. Raymer was then named the first Head Coach at Emery HS in Houston, TX. He spent 2 seasons at the helm of the Jaguar program before taking the Varsity Assistant job at Dobie HS. Raymer led the Longhorn pitching staff to a tremendous amount of success in this time there and also worked with the program's outfielders. He received his degree in marketing for the University of Louisiana. He was fortunate to be able to play baseball in college, including being a member of the Ragin' Caguns baseball program the year they participated in the College World Series in Omaha, after spending a season at Paris JC. This is Raymer's seventh season at Conroe HS, having already led the Tigers to their highest six year winning percentage in over two decades. In Raymer's time at Conroe, 21 Tiger baseball players have earned the opportunity to play college baseball with one former player being selected in the MLB draft by the Oakland Athletics. Raymer is excited to see the continued focused attitude and passion of the Tiger Baseball program show up on and off the field. He believes this year's team has the "team first" mentality, and tireless work ethic to have a successful season.
