Tigers start district play 3-1

The Tigers began district play with a sweep of new district rival Caney Creek, winning 17-2 in game one at Caney Creek. They came back home in game two and capped off the sweep with a 6-0 shut out. The Tigers then took on the Willis Wildcats and prevailed 8-7 at home in a 10 inning game. Game two in Willis saw a similar score with the Wildcats topping Conroe 2-1 in another close one. The Tigers go into the end of this week in 2nd place in district and will face off with a Woodlands team they are currently tied with in the standings. Game one is at The Woodlands (Highlander Field at McCullough Jr High) at 7:00pm Friday night. Game two is scheduled for the following day at Conroe High at 2:00.
